KNOWLEDGE
AI is transforming medicine. The question is: how.
Artificial intelligence will fundamentally change healthcare — that is no longer up for debate. The real question is whether it relieves physicians or simply adds new complexity. Whether it strengthens the human encounter or replaces it. The answer lies in the hands of those who deploy it. This conversation needs to happen openly — between the clinic and innovation, between daily practice and research. Here are some contributions we find particularly relevant.

BOOK
Wie gesund wollen wir sein? — Why AI and Digitalisation Make Healthcare More Human
The German healthcare system is under enormous pressure — overworked staff, fragmented IT, documentation by fax. In "Wie gesund wollen wir sein?", aiomics founder Dr. Sven Jungmann argues that technology and humanity are not opposites — they are prerequisites for each other. When AI is used well, it gives physicians time back — for what medicine is actually meant to be. The book was published in 2024 by Penguin Random House and was reviewed by Deutschlandfunk Kultur as a "readable, forward-looking analysis." Currently available in German.
